Capirani Photography: Videos

At this point I am not fully sure what my goal is for videos. I do enjoy taking videos as well as photos. Ask my family. In fact I have so many videos of family events on my computer that I have found myself needing to remove as many as possible because they are taking up too much space. The video above of the squirrel taking the bird seed bait on my front porch was fun to make and I thought maybe someone might decide that video is something they would like to see me do and if so, maybe even pay me to do it. But if not, it's just fun to watch. If the videos involve animals and/or nature, I will try to post them here.

About Dreams on Wheels

Capirani Photography is the culmination of a lifelong dream to be a photographer. When this dream began I was still in Junior High. Gradually the dream evolved into my wanting to be a fiction writer as well as a photographer. Portrait photography was never an interest of mine, unless you would get the subject of the photo outside in natural surroundings rather than in a studio.

Now after all the years of college, marriage, and raising a family, the time has come to make these dreams happen. I have the time. I have the cameras at least to get started. And I have the wheels.

Wheels? Capirani Photography is unique in that much of the photography is done from the vantage point of being seated, whether on my front porch steps, in a car, or in my wheelchair. While I did not actively pursue my dreams when I was younger, my time for making dreams come true now comes at a time when I need a little more help than I had planned. You won't find photos from me after climbing mountains or traversing down into canyons or into caves.

I am here to prove that you don't have to be 100% able-bodied to make your dreams come true, nor do you have to be able to walk and climb steadily to be a nature and landscape photographer. Looking at the world from a lower eye level could help us all see life differently. This is my goal.

I hope you enjoy my work here. You will find, not only photos, but many, many graphic designs, or abstracts. Abstract photography has been fascinating to me ever since my first encounter with the World Wide Web. It has only been in the past few months that I have been able to really focus my time and my talents on creating graphic designs. While I am still somewhat unsure of where I can sell my designs or who might be interested in purchasing prints, the creative process intrigues me. You might say it is quickly becoming an addiction of mine.
