Back on Facebook

It looks like it is working this time. If you have been following this blog you know that I tried this before, setting up a Facebook page for Capirani Photography, but it failed to go public. This time, I think it is working. But the only way to be sure is to leave it up awhile and see what happens. So, here is the link to click on to get to the Facebook page. Please, if you visit there, make sure to click the LIKE button. Leave me a note too, if you feel so inclined. I'd love to hear from you.

In other news, I've taken a week off this past week, so there hasn't been much new going on at any of my online locations. I'm seriously considering attempting YouTube tutorials in the near future. I'm just not sure how that will work unless I just do screen shots somehow. Obviously I don't want it to turn out boring.

About Dreams on Wheels

Capirani Photography is the culmination of a lifelong dream to be a photographer. When this dream began I was still in Junior High. Gradually the dream evolved into my wanting to be a fiction writer as well as a photographer. Portrait photography was never an interest of mine, unless you would get the subject of the photo outside in natural surroundings rather than in a studio.

Now after all the years of college, marriage, and raising a family, the time has come to make these dreams happen. I have the time. I have the cameras at least to get started. And I have the wheels.

Wheels? Capirani Photography is unique in that much of the photography is done from the vantage point of being seated, whether on my front porch steps, in a car, or in my wheelchair. While I did not actively pursue my dreams when I was younger, my time for making dreams come true now comes at a time when I need a little more help than I had planned. You won't find photos from me after climbing mountains or traversing down into canyons or into caves.

I am here to prove that you don't have to be 100% able-bodied to make your dreams come true, nor do you have to be able to walk and climb steadily to be a nature and landscape photographer. Looking at the world from a lower eye level could help us all see life differently. This is my goal.

I hope you enjoy my work here. You will find, not only photos, but many, many graphic designs, or abstracts. Abstract photography has been fascinating to me ever since my first encounter with the World Wide Web. It has only been in the past few months that I have been able to really focus my time and my talents on creating graphic designs. While I am still somewhat unsure of where I can sell my designs or who might be interested in purchasing prints, the creative process intrigues me. You might say it is quickly becoming an addiction of mine.
